Fall in Eastern KY

Fall is beautiful everywhere - but this is my first time experiencing it in Eastern KY so its nice to see the landscape with the colors. The first 4 shots are from Eagle Lake, next 5 are from Cave Run Lake area and the last is off Hwy 60E leaving Morehead.

MCBA Book - A Spot on the Mississippi

I'm finishing up a grant project from the Minnesota Center for Book Arts/Jerome Foundation. The works are 9 x 12, 9 x 9 and 9 inches x 8 ft. For the book, looks like I'll be printing a total of 20, with 2 being two 4 foot accordion folds of the 8 ft painting. They are done in graphite, acrylic, and some ink. I drew and painted on site when I could but the winter images are from photographs I took. I tried drawing out there when snow was on the ground - just couldn't work out there in the MN cold.
